Q: Is Las Trampas Pool open to the public?
A: No. The pool is a private club. Only club members and their guests may use the facility.
Q: How many members are there and how do I become a member?
A: Las Trampas pool’s membership is limited to a total of 200 member families and 40 associate member families. Currently, there is a waitlist to join the pool. To apply to be a member, you must submit an application and a $100, non-refundable fee.
Q: How long will it take to become a member once my name is on the wait list?
A: Typically normal member turnover is such that most prospective members are able to join for the season following their application. However, the wait period may range from 1 to 2 years depending on the number of families on the list. Contact the Membership Director for more information or an estimate of the current wait. Most membership transactions occur annually during the months of January - March, before the pool opens for the season.
Q: Can members bring non-members to the pool as guests?
A: Yes. Guests are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a pool member. There is a $3.00 fee per guest which is payable upon arrival via Venmo or cash.
Q: What days/hours is the pool open?
A: Generally the pool is open May through October. Exact opening and closing dates vary slightly from year to year and hours of operation vary slightly throughout the season. Updated hours can be viewed by clicking on the "Pool Hours" tab of this website.
Q: How big is the Pool?
A: Las Trampas Pool is 25 yards long x 6 lanes wide with an attached diving well with diving board. There is also a wading pool for small children, ages 5 and under.
Q: Does the pool offer swim lessons?
A: Yes. Private swim lessons are taught during the months of June and July by the swim team coaches and are available to both members of the Las Trampas Swim Team, and non- swim team members 5 & older. Please visit the swim team website (www.ltst.org) or contact the swim team directors for details. Swim lessons may only be conducted by employees of the pool - no outside instructors are allowed.
Q: How do I know who is on the Board of Directors and how do I contact them?

Q: Is food allowed at the Pool?
A: Yes food and drinks are allowed at the pool--no glass bottles or containers please. Our snack bar, with food/drink for sale, is only available during swim meets.

Q: I am interested in applying for a summer lifeguard job. How do I apply?

Q: I am a current member but my gate access code is not working. Who do I contact to fix this?
A: Contact the Membership Director for all gate access code issues.
Q: Can I swim laps for fitness at Las Trampas Pool?
A: Yes. Two lanes are reserved for adult lap swimmers during most pool hours. During swim team preseason practice (April/May), lap lanes may not be available until after 6:45 pm. Please always check the Pool Hours on the website before coming for lap swim. Additionally, there is morning lap swim available for adult pool members (over 18 only) between 5:00 am and 8:00 am. Contact the Vice President for more information about morning lap swim.
